With a slim, Splashproof metal body in Midnight Black or Starry Silver, the Mju 820 is the ideal combination of form and function. From its attractive, slim-line exterior, 8.0 megapixels, 5x optical zoom, large 2.7" HyperCrystal LCD screen to its handy splash resistance - this camera is perfect for around the pool, for a hike in the rainforest or for withstanding drink spills.
Face Detection and Shadow Adjust Technology
Olympus Face Detection and Shadow Adjust ensures sharp focus on the subject's face, and displays a green frame on the LCD monitor to indicate when faces are detected. It also recognises when there are no people in the frame, and automatically adjusts the focus and exposure accordingly. The result of the adjustments is displayed in real-time on the LCD screen, making it easy for users to see how the main subject and background will appear in the captured image.
In-Camera Panorama
Taking a great quality panorama shot is now even easier with the In-camera Panorama setting of the Mju 820. In-camera Panorama allows for 3 shots to be captured and stitched together automatically in the camera!
