The tablet is encased in an elegant spun aluminum cover and is ultra-thin (at 0.33 inches) and light (at a mere 1.29 lbs), allowing users to travel light. Docking Option
Featuring an innovative docking option, the tablet is just as well-suited for content creation as it is for content consumption. The docking station extends the tablet’s battery life to up to 18 hours* (from up to 12 with for the tablet alone) for even more unhindered productivity and also features a near full-sized QWERTY keyboard, a multi-touch touchpad, a USB port, and SD card reader. The QWERTY keyboard grants on-the-move professionals and students access to the convenience of a physical keyboard for long term typing. The USB port and SD card reader allow users to share data and expand storage easily.

NVIDIA Tegra 3
The Eee Pad Transformer Prime is the world’s first tablet to feature NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 quad-core processor, which according to NVIDIA delivers almost twice the Web browsing performance and up to 61 percent lower power consumption than the previous generation Tegra 2 dual-core processor. This results in higher performance levels, better battery life and an improved mobile experience. The quad core processor allocates power based on a user’s current task at hand, switching between a 5th companion core for low powered activities and four performance cores when more power is needed. The processor easily handles multi-tasking in corporate or academic environments. Users can simultaneously browse the Internet, work on office documents, and check emails and not compromise responsiveness. The 10.1” LED-backlit Super IPS+ multi-touch screen is protected by robust Corning® Gorilla® Glass and has an ultra -wide, 178° viewing angle that is perfect for sharing content. The panel produces a crisper and more accurate color range by up to 50% when compared to other tablets in the market. With Super IPS+ technology, the brightness of the panel can reach 600 nits, providing better readability even when the tablet is viewed under sunlight. Productivity Applications
In conjunction with the innovative keyboard docking option, the tablet features numerous applications that support whenever, wherever productivity. The pre-installed Polaris® Office® software lets users view or create documents, spreadsheets, and presentation files. With the SuperNote app, users can take notes via keyboard or touch, and add photos, and video captures or audio notes. Users are reassured that important files are safeguarded with App Locker, which locks selected applications with password protection and App Backup, which backs up applications to an internal storage or a micro SD card.
