The T166 series HDDs have generated Samsung a lot of appreciation. They claim to be one of the quickest and quietest drives around.
The HD321KJ is an addition to the recently launched T166 series of HDDs. This 320GB drive has a SATA2 interface with theoretical transfer speeds of up to 300MB/s. It spins at 7200 RPM with an average latency of 4.17 ms, and a read seek time of 8.9 ms, respectively.
It can also withstand an operating shock of 65 G and a non-operating shock of 300 G.
The HD321KJ can store around 266GB of data and features a 16MB buffer will definitely boost the performance of the drive.
The HD321KJ has a high-speed Dual Digital Signal Processor (DSP) based architecture and has the following features:
