These help it to record clear and smooth 1920 x 1080p full high-definition video despite the camera’s light and compact body. The HD2000 is also capable of high-speed shooting at 600 fps/240 fps^*2. Using this feature, you can view fast-motion videos, such as sports scenes, in slow motion—impossible on a normal camera.

Despite being a full high-definition video camera, the HD2000 can capture realistic 8-megapixel photos just like those taken with a dedicated digital camera. It can even record higher-resolution images at up to 12 megapixels (4000 x 3000 pixels), using real-time interpolation technology^*3. Meanwhile, the Face Chaser function^*4 can automatically keep track of up to 12 faces even if they move, giving you hassle-free and beautiful images.

With the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format, it’s easy to save and playback videos on your PC. It’s also easy to edit full high-definition video clips using the included software and show videos from your iPod to friends and family. This way, the fun continues even after you’re finished shooting.
